My Story
As a child we had a large country garden that was tended to by everyone in the family.
I loved picking fresh peas, digging carrots out of the garden and just playing in the dirt.

This sparked my interest in gardening and the outdoors.
Each new plant I discovered drew me in. The intricacy of design and form was captivating.
I wanted to learn how I could preserve these beauties. I began pressing in books, and hang drying.
Leaves and petals reminded me of bird feathers or fish scales.

This led to turning them into what I thought they resembled to me.

After creating pressed flower pictures I was left with all these little tiny bits. I thought, can I do anything with these?
The resin and jewelry became an experiment. I was happy with the result and started to make more.

I began trying different techniques, shapes and colors.
I soon realized I am never going to wear the amount of jewelry I wanted to create.
I also just wanted to share it with others. Fellow plant and nature lovers and anyone of interest.

So Wild Violet Company was born. It is in its infancy and I expect many things to change as I grow and learn.
Thank you for visiting Wild Violet.
Carry a piece of nature with you wherever you roam.
